Terms & Conditions

1. Who we are

GanitVeer is a mathematics championship for children, operated by IgniVeer Ventures LLP (LLP ID ADA-0847), a limited liability partnership registered in India. Registered office: 2nd Floor, 472/7 Balaji Arcade, AVS Compound, Koramangala VI Block, Bangalore - 560095, Karnataka, India. In these terms, "GanitVeer", "we", "us", and "our" refer to IgniVeer Ventures LLP.

By registering a child for GanitVeer, the parent or guardian completing the registration agrees to these terms on the child's behalf.

2. Eligibility

  • GanitVeer is open to children aged 5-10 in India. Age is computed from the child's date of birth, not from school class.
  • Registration is completed by a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.
  • The championship is available to participants in India only.

3. How the championship works

  • GanitVeer runs four seasons per year, one each quarter.
  • Every participant sits the same uniform paper. The exam is timed and taken online from home.
  • There is no public leaderboard and no public ranking. We never display one child's performance against another's to the public.

4. Registration and payment

  • Registration is completed on this website by a parent or guardian.
  • The registration fee is collected through our payment processor. Payments are accepted from within India only.
  • A registration is confirmed once payment is received. Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Prizes and tax

The prize structure is fixed and does not change with the number of entries:

  • One GanitVeer Champion: ₹50,000 (gross), awarded to the single top performer.
  • Five GanitVeer Achievers: ₹10,000 each (gross).
  • Every other participant receives an individual skill report and a physical gift.

Prize amounts shown are gross. Tax will be deducted at source from prize payouts as applicable under the Income Tax Act and other applicable law. The exact deduction depends on the tax rules in force at the time of payout.

6. Results and skill reports

  • Each participant receives an individual skill report. Reports do not compare one child against another.
  • Results are viewed by logging in on the results page with the child's roll number and date of birth. We do not email results directly.
  • When results are ready, all participants receive a notification telling them results are out and to log in. Winners receive a separate notification.

7. Winner verification and disqualification

A winner is provisional until verification is complete. Before any prize is paid, the parent or guardian of a winning child must submit:

  • a proof-of-age document, being one of a birth certificate, a school certificate, or an Aadhaar document;
  • a photograph of the child;
  • the parent or guardian's PAN; and
  • bank account details for the prize transfer.

We may disqualify a provisional winner who does not complete verification, or whose submitted information cannot be verified, and may award that prize to the next eligible participant at our discretion.

8. Tiebreakers

If two or more children have the same total score, the order is decided first by tiebreaker questions, and then, if still level, by the precise time the exam was submitted. Ties are always resolved by rule. They are never decided by random selection or lucky draw.

9. Refunds and cancellation

In short: a full refund is available if you cancel within 3 days of your registration and payment date. After that window, registrations are non-refundable. If we cancel or postpone a season, every affected registrant is refunded in full. A duplicate charge for the same registration is refunded in full, regardless of the 3-day window. If we cannot deliver the exam due to a failure on our side, affected participants are offered a full refund or a rescheduled attempt. The full policy, including how to request a refund, is on the Refund & Cancellation Policy page.

10. Conduct and grounds for disqualification

A registration or result may be disqualified if:

  • the registration information is false or misleading;
  • the child does not meet the eligibility criteria in section 2;
  • the exam is attempted using unfair means, outside help, or any attempt to manipulate the result; or
  • a provisional winner fails verification under section 7.

11. Limitation of liability

The exam is taken online from the participant's own home, device, and internet connection. We are not responsible for internet connectivity, device, or other technical problems on the participant's side during the exam. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with the championship is limited to the registration fee paid for that season.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bangalore, Karnataka have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
