A note from us: Shajin Joseph and Bhavya Shajin, founders of GanitVeer.

This is our first season. We built GanitVeer because we wanted a mathematics competition where a child is judged on how they think with numbers, and nothing else: no school gatekeeping, no discretion in who wins, no lucky draw.

We're running this exactly the way we'd want it run for our own child: one fixed set of prizes, published in advance, awarded purely on merit. Every child who takes part gets something to keep, whether or not they win.
