This is our first season. We built GanitVeer because we wanted a mathematics competition where a child is judged on how they think with numbers, and nothing else: no school gatekeeping, no discretion in who wins, no lucky draw.

We're running this exactly the way we'd want it run for our own child: one fixed set of prizes, published in advance, awarded purely on merit. Every child who takes part gets something to keep, whether or not they win.

We didn't build another Olympiad. Those are good at finding children who are already ahead, already coached, already called "maths kids." We're looking for the much larger group who quietly decide, sometimes as early as Class 3, that maths just isn't for them. That decision usually has nothing to do with ability. It's a spark that never got lit. GanitVeer isn't testing a syllabus. It's finding where that spark is, and where it still needs to catch.
